The DNA evidence was thrown out in court, and Detectives Stabler and Benson needed a fingerprint – and fast. Luckily, the suspect showed up at the precinct with a fast food cup, which was quickly dusted for prints. But how would they match the print to the one they got off the bullet before the suspect lawyered up? With a Neat mobile scanner, of course!
Although they used their own special TV-police-drama software to match up the prints, we here at The Neat Company commend Dick Wolf for recognizing the value of a lightweight, portable scanner in fighting crime. (We’ve been saying this for years.)
