From the desktop to the cloud, digital clutter is an ever present and growing problem in so many people’s lives. Between e-mail, surfing the web, social media, and mobile applications, even I have various bits of information stored across so many different digital locations. I keep a growing list of my favorite restaurants in Evernote, store digital copies of home improvement articles in Dropbox, and collaborate on work items in Google Docs.
While using all of these services has proved helpful to me in different fashions, all too often I can’t quite remember where I’ve stored all of my information. Lucky for me, and all you Neat users out there, we’ve created a handy function called Expanded Search which is available within NeatCloud® and lets you access all of your files in a single location!
With Expanded Search, you can search for files that you have stored across the web by connecting your NeatCloud account to 3rd party web services like Google Docs, Evernote and Dropbox. Simply type a list of search terms into NeatCloud, picking the 3rd party services you want to search, and then access your compiled search results. All searches are saved and automatically updated so that new files are added ensuring every piece of information can be easily found.
