Neat’s cloud-based Digital Filing System to be demonstrated at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES)
Philadelphia, PA – January 8, 2013 from Showstoppers @ CES 2013 – Neat®, a leader in Digital Filing Systems for the small business and home markets, today announced significant updates to its NeatMobile® application. The NeatMobile update comes in response to increased market demand for cloud-based Digital Filing Systems.
During 2012, the market demand for solutions that manage information in the personal cloud significantly escalated, as Neat surpassed 1.3 million digital filing system customers. Neat simplifies work and life tasks by making it easy to acquire, access, and share documents across all your devices. The company’s integrated ecosystem of hardware, software, cloud and mobile solutions provide a comprehensive platform for managing your most important information.
“As we enter the post-PC era, more than ever before, people are demanding access to solutions that better manage their information in the personal cloud,” explains Kevin Garton, chief marketing officer for Neat. “Neat’s combination of cloud and mobile services, desktop software and hardware scanning solutions helps people transform information in a way that will simplify tasks and re-gain time. While there are many point solutions available today, Neat has set the standard by offering a single solution where users can easily acquire, organize, access, search, and share their information from any device.”
With updates to NeatMobile, the company enhances the utility of their mobile application. Currently available on iOS mobile devices and Android smartphones, Neat plans to announce availability on Android tablets in 2013. The new features and functions for NeatMobile will be released in 2013 and include the following:
Editing – A function that allows users to edit the extracted data from receipts, business cards, and documents they “scan” with the camera on their mobile device. Users can select what information they want saved, added, and removed from a specific item. Users can also completely remove all data and save the image alone.
Organize – Neat makes organizing information in NeatMobile easier by allowing users to remotely delete, move, and sort files or folders in their Digital Filing System.
Share – Users can now share individual files or folders with anyone, anytime. The person with whom they share will be able to view only the selected file or folder. If a folder is shared, the parties will be able to exchange comments on the items within the shared folder.
Neat will showcase their complete line of Digital Filing System solutions throughout CES 2013 and during Showstoppers at CES on January 8th, at the Wynn Hotel Lafite Ballroom, table F19.
Demonstrations will include the Neat software platform, the company’s popular scanning solutions NeatDesk® and NeatReceipts®, as well as cloud and mobile applications NeatCloud® and NeatMobile®.
