Position Description:
The Account Manager will engage in promoting and selling Company products to an assigned account base or territory as well as develop new accounts, with the goal of exceeding Company Revenue and Profitability objectives. The Account Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of company promotions and marketing campaigns. Account Manager will be responsible for forecasting and continue inventory management for assigned account base or territory. Account Manager will be responsible to manage and track MDF and Advertising funds within budget to meet/exceed ROI objectives. Account Manager will manage some accounts directly as well as manage and deploy Independent Sales Representatives to meet Company objectives.
Requirements:
- Strong relevant retail sales experience with a history of increasing responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that enable candidate to work and negotiate cross functionally.
- Proven team leadership, communication and motivation skills required.
- Experience with systematic planning and management (e.g.: forecasting, budgeting/cost and data collection)
- Ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing.
Qualifications:
- Experience with consumer hardware and/or computer electronics is preferred.
- Relevant category and channel sales experience.
- Experience managing Independent Sales Reps is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven history of execution and exceeding performance objectives.
