We will introduce a new way to reconcile your business’ books that will reduce the amount of time you spend reviewing and categorizing transactions from hours per month to minutes per month.
This beta will include:
Automated stream of all bank, credit card, and loan transactions
Reconciliation without the need of a bank statement
Simplified Chart of Accounts (Income & Expense only)
Reconcile on-the-go with an enhanced mobile experience that includes ‘2 tap reconciliation’
Introduction to Neat’s reconciliation ‘buckets’
Detecting more challenging transaction types - such as batched deposits - and isolating them in their own workspace that will allow you to focus your effort.
Reconciliation progress bars
You’ll always know how much work is remaining to close a period. Our progress bars will tell you exactly how much you have to reconcile on a per-account basis.

Full Bookkeeping Beta
Second 30-45 days
We expect to deliver the remaining functionality to complete the Neat Bookkeeping experience.
This beta will include:
Simplified full Chart of Accounts (Income, Expense, Assets, Liabilities, Equity)
Completely overhauled reporting experience
To include accounting reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement
Expanded Business Health Insights:
Fully configurable insights dashboard
Business performance trends over time: sales, gross profit, operating expenses, net profit.
Expense control insights and in-app advice
Cash flow insights, warnings and in-app advice
Debt capacity evaluation and recommendations
Invoicing and online payments
How do I sign up?
Log in to Neat now and click “Yes” when prompted to sign up.
The first 100 people to sign up will have access to the first beta.
What if I don't get in?
Don’t worry if you don’t get into the first beta group! If you opt-in today, you’ll be added to the next group sometime in the next 30 days or so. We expect beta participants to have access to the new features the week of October 19th.

As an existing Neat Complete customer, you will continue to have access to all beta features free of charge.
I signed up for the beta by mistake. How can I remove myself from the beta group?
Not a problem. Simply email: firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll remove you from the beta group.
What if I already use a system like QuickBooks to manage my books?
You’re not alone! During the beta period, we don’t expect you to begin to use Neat to manage your books...yet. What we’d like for you to do is try out Neat’s new features and tell us how they compare to QuickBooks.
I don’t like using QuickBooks and if Neat offers a simplified way to keep my books, how do I switch over?
We recognize that longtime QuickBooks customers have years of valuable data they shouldn’t part company with. We are working on making it easy and automated to import all your important historical bookkeeping data from QuickBooks into Neat. We expect to have this available by the end of the year.
