Business Development Representative

Position Description

We are currently seeking an energetic and self-motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team at Neat. This position is key to filling the top of the marketing funnel through developing new channel partners.

As a BDR you will have the opportunity to impact the bottom line by generating revenue through identifying new opportunities for the channel team. The primary responsibilities include collaboration with the sales leaders, market research to identify new potential channel partners and customers, and qualification of these leads through independent prospecting.


  • Work alongside marketing, sales, and leadership to execute targeted outbound campaigns
  • Identify specific prospects/partners to approach and effectively communicate the specific value proposition for the partner’s business
  • Leverage cold calling, email and social media to build the top of the sales funnel through partnerships
  • Build and develop relevant industry knowledge depending on campaign/vertical.
  • Track all client communications, coordinate meetings with sales executives, and dutifully log all activities in Salesforce CRM.
  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding monthly qualified lead objectives and quotas.


  • Must demonstrate a desire to learn, embrace new concepts, and be passionate about leveraging the phone to drive opportunity.
  • 1+ years of outbound sales and channel growth experience
  • A drive for hunting, winning and providing value to target accounts
  • People person, able to build and nurture relationships through appropriate follow up and relationship management
  • Resourceful with initiative and passion for working in an effective and self-guided manner in a fast-paced environment
  • Salesforce/Pardot experience preferred
  • Ability to generate pipeline through outbound/inbound activity, and utilizing CRM software to aide in engagement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying partner needs
