NeatCare Terms and Conditions

All Neat products and services come with a one-year limited warranty and a period of complimentary telephone support. The purchase of your NeatCare plan includes 1 year of software upgrades and 60 days of live agent technical support.

By purchasing NeatCare™ for a qualified product or service from The Neat© Company, you agree to be bound by and accept the terms and conditions herein. Please read this agreement in its entirety. These terms and conditions will supplement the terms and conditions of The Neat Company’s standard invoice terms and conditions of sale upon receipt of payment in full. The Neat Company will provide you with the benefits of the NeatCare plan, pursuant to these terms and conditions.

Term/Coverage

The term of the NeatCare plan shall be for one year from the original date of purchase of a Neat product or service according to the plan tier purchased. The NeatCare plan is a premium level warranty and customer support plan versus the coverage provided by the manufacturer’s standard hardware warranty and 60 day complimentary telephone support.

Limited Hardware Warranty

The manufacturer warrants that each machine is free from defects in materials and workmanship conforms to the manufacturers published specifications. The warranty period for a scanner is a specified, fixed period commencing on its date of purchase, as evidenced by the original or digital sales receipt.

Extent of Warranty: The warranty does not cover the repair or exchange of a machine resulting from modification or unsuitable physical or operating environment. The warranty is voided by removal or alteration of machine parts or identification labels; Items not covered by the warranty are the host computer operating system, application programs other than Neat software or hardware configurations.

Limits of Protection

Neat does not extend accidental damage protection or replacement under the NeatCare service plan.
