Getting Started with the Neat Software

Click here to download the latest version of the Neat Software and for instructions to complete the installation process.

These are the required specifications for installation:

  • Microsoft® Windows 7, 8 or 10 (32 or 64-bit) or Mac OS 10.11 or higher
  • Surface Pro and other touchscreen computers are currently not supported, click here for more information.
  • Pentium® IV 2.0+ GHz or faster (Dual Core recommended)
  • 1 GB RAM; 2 GB highly recommended
  • 1 GB of available disk space for installation, 1 GB recommended for user data
  • Available USB port
  • Internet Connection, 1 Megabit (recommended download speeds)
  • Activate Neat Cloud account (Can be activated using a bundle PIN)

Scanning into the Neat Software

You can use any of the Neat scanners–NeatReceipts, NeatDesk, or NeatConnect–and also any 3rd party scanner that is TWAIN compliant to scan items to the Neat Software. Click here to learn more about your Neat scanner.

Scan Settings
The Neat Software allows you to easily change your settings to determine how you want your scans to appear. Choose your item type, color, scan destination and more using the scan settings toolbar.
