Invoice

Smarter Bills & Invoices

We’ve made it easier to work across Bills and Invoices without losing important details.

To better align these item types, Neat now includes additional fields on Bills, including Terms, Sales Tax, GST/HST, PST/QST, Reimbursable, Billable, Tax Category, Customer, Project, Purchase Order Number, Product, Class, and Location. We also added Tax Category to Invoices.

These new fields are available in both the file cabinet grids and item detail view. When you reclassify items between supported item types, the data values transfer with them.

That means less manual cleanup, fewer lost details, and a smoother workflow when managing records.

Files

Your Data, Your Way: New Grid Customization Has Arrived

Neat has rolled out several enhancements focused on giving you more control over the file cabinet and transactions grids.

Your grid column configuration is now saved remotely, so once you set up your columns the way you like them, that setup follows you across browsers and devices.

You can also now resize columns in the file cabinet and transactions grids by dragging the divider between column headers. Like column visibility and order, those width settings are also saved remotely.

New columns have also been added to the transactions grid and can now be shown, hidden, and adjusted just like your other grid columns.
