Turn Your Financial Information Into Action
As the year moves into its final months, now is a good time to look beyond the day-to-day and see what your financial information is telling you.
Are expenses trending higher than expected? Do you know what’s still outstanding? Are there spending patterns worth a closer look?
The financial records you’ve built throughout the year can do more than help you stay organized. They can help you spot trends, identify opportunities, and make more informed decisions about what comes next.
This month, we’re sharing practical resources, the latest Neat product updates, and an upcoming power-user webinar to help you put your financial information to work and get even more from Neat.

More Control Over Your Files on Mobile 📱
With our latest mobile update, you can now view and edit all available file details directly from the Neat mobile app. Correct information captured from a receipt, add missing invoice details, update a category, or make other changes without switching to the web app.
You can also manage a file’s review status right from your mobile device. Mark files as Reviewed when you’ve confirmed the information is accurate, or Needs Review when something requires additional attention.
Whether you’re capturing documents away from the office or reviewing files between jobs, you now have more control over keeping your File Cabinet accurate and up to date wherever you are.
Quick productivity tip
Put Bulk Tasks Together
Have dozens of similar updates to make? Don’t handle them one at a time throughout the day.
Group similar tasks, such as updating categories, reviewing document details, or cleaning up records, and complete them in a single focus session. Batching repetitive work reduces context switching and can make larger cleanup projects feel much more manageable.
Before Q4 Begins
You don’t need to have every year-end task completed in September. The goal is to know where things stand.
Take a look at your expenses, identify anything that needs attention, and use the information you’ve collected throughout the year to decide what matters most during the months ahead.
A little insight now can lead to better decisions before the year is over.
We’ll be back next month with more resources and Neat updates to help you keep moving forward.
